Democracy vs. Totalitarianism

@doru, when a bottom up corporation excels then people will get confidence in the self governing models, right now its just a theory .

@Titanthinktank13,  You obviously confuse private production issues with public government issues.
This might provide a short introduction to the subject: http://mail001.blogspot.com/2011/03/open-society.html

Government must be controlled from bottom to the top to allow us to live. A top to bottom government looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1OZYoxaJ2Y

It is known that bottom to top governments do work very well. See ancient Athens and today's Cheran, also Switzerland and Sweden, to some extent.

When a democracy engages in large scale production, like war or some large industrial enterprise, which require large scale integration, then it is faced with the challenge of controlling those organizations, which, of course, must be top to bottom managed. If the democracy succeeds at that task, that is wonderful, if it fails, it is preferable to block the respective activity completely, rather than to fail under a suicidal totalitarian regime.
